Add custom selectors if needed.
Ad networks are blocked before they load and leftover ad slots are collapsed, so the capture has no empty gaps. Add selectors for anything we miss.
For heavy or lazy-loading sites where parts of the page arrive late. Waits up to 20 seconds for network activity to stop, then captures regardless — so a site that never goes quiet still produces a file, just no faster than before.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I convert a website to PDF?
Paste the website URL into Site2PDF, choose your pages, select PDF format, and click Generate. The tool will capture each page as a full-page screenshot and combine them into a single PDF document you can download instantly.
Is Site2PDF free to use?
Yes. Single-page captures need no account at all — paste a URL and download. Archiving a full website needs a free account, which also raises your allowance to 10 archives a month (up to 10 pages each) and saves your history. Every plan gets all four formats and every advanced option. No credit card at any point.
Can I save a single web page as PDF or screenshot?
Absolutely. Use the "Single Page" mode — paste any URL, choose PDF, PNG, or JPG format, and get your file in seconds. It captures the full page including content below the fold.
What websites can I archive?
Site2PDF works with any publicly accessible website. It handles dynamic content, JavaScript-rendered pages, and single-page applications. Some sites behind login walls or with strong bot protection may have limited support.
Can I remove cookie banners and popups before saving?
Yes, on every plan. Cookie banners are recognised across 30+ consent platforms — OneTrust, Cookiebot, CookieYes, Complianz, Cookie Notice, Osano, Didomi, Usercentrics and more — plus a generic rule that catches hand-built ones, so most disappear with no setup. Google ad blocks are removed by default too, and the empty gaps they leave are collapsed. You can still add your own CSS selectors to hide any element, unfix sticky headers, or expand collapsed accordions before capturing.
What export formats are supported?
You can export as PDF (all pages combined into one document), PNG (high-quality lossless images), JPG (compressed images), or ZIP (each page as a separate file). All formats are available on the Free plan.
How long are my files stored?
How long a generated archive stays available depends on your plan: Free keeps files for 7 days, Starter 30 days, Pro 90 days, and Business 180 days. After that they're automatically deleted from our servers, so download important archives in good time.
Can I use an archive as legal or compliance evidence?
Yes — enable Legal capture before you generate. Each PDF page is stamped with the source URL and the exact capture time (UTC), and you get a certificate file with a SHA-256 hash of the archive. Anyone can re-compute that hash to confirm the file hasn't been altered since capture — useful for legal, compliance, and evidence purposes. (It's an automated capture record, not formal legal attestation.)
Can I re-capture a page automatically and be told when it changes?
Yes — that's Schedule & monitor. Pick daily, weekly or monthly and we re-archive the page (or a whole set of pages) on that schedule, on every plan including Free. Choose only when the page changes and we compare the page text each run and email you just for real changes — the first run is a silent baseline. For a whole-site watch the email names exactly which pages moved. Manage everything from your account; what your plan limits is how many watches run at once.
Can I save my Advanced Options and reuse them?
Yes. Once you've worked out the right selectors for a site — cookie, ad, hide and unfix rules plus expand rules — save them as a named preset under Advanced Options → Saved settings and apply them to any later capture with one click. Presets need a free account and are managed in your account.
Is the text in the PDF selectable or searchable?
No — a Site2PDF page is an exact image of what the browser rendered, so Ctrl+F and copy don't work inside it. That's a deliberate trade-off: printing to a text PDF is what breaks layouts, drops backgrounds and splits pages awkwardly, and pixel-accurate archives are the point here. If searchable text matters for your work, tell us on the result screen — there's a one-click vote, and it's how we decide what to build next.
Where can I read about every option?
The Docs page covers every mode, format and advanced option, what counts as a change for monitoring, plan limits, and a troubleshooting section for the awkward cases (banners that survive, pages behind a login, very large sites).
